About Deep Memory Process
Much of the work I do is geared towards helping people understand and heal grief and trauma. That means that I’ve specifically focused my training and education towards modalities that help to heal traumatic imprints, which can be lodged in the physical, emotional and/or mental bodies. These imprints sometimes have their origins in our current life, but often go further back, rippling through our current experience.
Traumatic imprints can show up as fears and phobias, chronic pain and sickness, negative thought patterns, cycles of being stuck in poverty or painful relationships, or just perpetual cycles in general that cause us harm. Other examples include:
- Unrequited love
- Debilitating Fears/Phobias
- Anger, Rage, Anxiety, Depression
- Low Self-Esteem
- Chronic Pain, Illness and Injury
- Inner Child Wounding
- Ancestral and Generational Trauma
My goal is to help you complete the impulse left by trauma so that the energy bound up in the pattern can flow again, facilitating healing.
I am a certified Deep Memory Process® practitioner. Deep Memory Process, pioneered by Roger Woolger and taught in the U.S. by Patricia Walsh, is a form of Cathartic Past Life Regression Therapy. This therapy is used to heal trauma at all levels, incorporating Jungian Active Imagination, Shamanic Soul Retrieval, Gestalt and Psychodrama techniques in order to honor the body’s need to complete an impulse as well as the psyche’s innate capacity to heal.
Deep Memory Process® is the modality that I am the most passionate about, and I combine it with Evolutionary Astrology, which provides a blueprint for the patterns and traumas the soul has been working with. DMP is a form of multidimensional, shamanic soul retrieval that aims to get to the core of the matter, alleviating patterns in quite remarkable ways.
The healing that comes from just one of these sessions can be quite profound, although sometimes work with a particular complex can take place over a series of sessions.
This work compliments my master’s degree in Depth Psychology. In addition, I have completed more than 200 hours of training, more than 100 hours of direct client work, am currently an active supervisor for DMP students and have begun assisting at DMP trainings. I have also completed several courses in Shamanism with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies to assist with the soul-retrieval components of the work in addition to self-study and ongoing mentoring.
What to Expect?
Your first DMP session will begin with an interview where we will discuss your intentions for the session as well as your personal history. I will send you a half-hour video to watch prior to the session and ask you to arrive with any questions. Sessions take place at my home in Seattle, and you will be asked to lie on the floor for the duration of the session — therefore comfy clothes are recommended.
Deep Memory Process does not require the use of hypnosis and you will be conscious and aware through the entire session, which will run between 2-3 hours the first time. Subsequent sessions are typically around 2-2.5 hours. I recommend you take the rest of the day or evening for quiet integration time and a good night’s sleep.
At this time, I am offering Deep Memory Process® sessions to anyone who has had an astrology reading with me. The astrology reading serves as an intake session that allows us to get a baseline understanding and shared language for whatever it is you’re coming to work on, and it also gives us a chance to talk about the process, get a feel for each other, and establish trust.
Although I typically do not see individuals for DMP without a preliminary astrology intake session, I am open to talking about offering an abridged intake either via Skype or at the same time as your DMP session if you are someone who:
- is being referred by another evolutionary astrologer
- is familiar with evolutionary astrology
- and/or has experience with cathartic work, shamanic work or other depth-oriented modalities.
Please contact me for more information or to schedule: email@example.com. If you would prefer to talk on the phone, just email me and we will set up a time.
