The course begins July 21 with a new lesson dropping every Friday until September 1.

The final lesson will include suggestions for a closing ritual to be done on or around September 14.

This core of the course is made up of seven written lessons. Most lessons are between 10-15 pages.

Lessons will be made up of stories, contemplations, myths, Amanda’s personal sharing, philosophical ponderings, questions for reflection, suggestions for homework and more.

Some weeks will include suggestions and guidance for simple but powerful rituals as well as recorded guided visualizations.

You will also receive a 90 minute recorded video lecture providing an overview of the astrology and themes of the retrograde period, PDFs detailing how to engage with ritual and how to build an altar and so much more.

Although this course is inspired by the astrology of Venus Retrograde, with lessons, rituals and energy healings timed accordingly, you do not need to understand astrology to take this course.

Basic astrological timelines will be provided for folks who are interested along with a recorded lecture about the period from an astrological perspective.

When lessons discuss the astrology, it is in a way that is conceptual and mythological with jargon kept to a minimum.

Past participants have shared stories of significant or subtle breakthroughs in regards to their deepest relational patterns; rekindled love affairs with story, music and art; rekindled love affairs with the people in their lives and more.

This course is meant to help you engage with relationships with more clarity and empowerment. Which means it will be focused on relationship with self first, then other humans, the land you live on, the earth you reside within and the universe.

Nothing in my life is.

This course supports all relationship styles, sexualities and genders.

My own relevant identities: I have never had a monogamous relationship (by choice. I have had many committed, polyamorous/relationship anarchy-based relationships); I am queer. I tend to believe that things I’ve learned about communication, consent, sex and more through my non-monog and queer communities are relevant for all relationship styles.

Great question! The short answer is… yes but no.

This is the 4th incarnation of this course. The core remains the same. Parts of the text in the lesson will be the same, parts will be adapted based on the energy of this retrograde, which is very Leonian (whereas the last one was Capricornian). Energy Healings will be similar but different.

The biggest NEW thing this round is that I have re-done all lessons to be more aesthetically pleasing. As always, any extra writings or ponderings that come through will be based on the energy of the current moment.

Regardless, I feel confident that this course is still worthwhile for folks who have taken it before as it is very much a living container.
