Venus Enters Leo.

Desire.
Lust.
The serpent awakens.
This ain't your typical Venusian tour through the lion's den.

Venus in Leo is about robust connection with authenticity, sure.

But the shadows loom large.

Venus in her Leo form demands worship. To meet that need, we must root into ourselves with an honest eye towards any lies we tell ourselves about the nature of our desires -- and any tendencies towards manipulation we might have.

What does it mean to be worthy of worship? What does it mean to only worship what is worthy? Without inflation or avoidance?

Between now and July 22, Venus will be tracing a more friendly path, albeit tinged with her initial encounter with Pluto's call to transformation. Bask in the sunshine. Lean into the glow.

And then, with her station retrograde on July 22, we enter 40 days and 40 nights of confrontation with the serpent. And our heart's desire. To wield the libido in ways that serve authentic co-creation is this journey's greatest gift.

Venus will dance with Lilith. Mars. Chiron. Uranus. Confrontations with rage. Identity. Assertion. The potential for liberation and freedom from ancient patterns.

And oh. So. Much. Potential for drama and inflation.

But also: the deliciousness of being rooted into authentic desire and creative self actualization. Remember your sovereign right to bodily autonomy. Stay humble. Learn to forgive yourself and apologize when you fuck up.
